Slamming
Policy
Broadwing will not tolerate the practice of slamming. "Slamming"
is the intentional, unauthorized transfer of a customer's telecommunications
service provider. Broadwing adheres to and supports all applicable
federal and state laws and regulations designed to prevent slamming.
Broadwing's transfer of service process requires that a letter of
authorization (LOA) be in place before any transfer is made. Each
customer's LOA is kept on file and no transfer is made until the customer
has granted appropriate written permission. We are proud of the integrity
and exceptional service commitment we offer. Providing your communications
services is a privilege that we take very seriously.
