Broadwing is developing a feature-rich suite of voice over IP (VoIP) services, specifically tailored to our customers' requirements today and in the future. Broadwing's unique, all-optical network architecture is the perfect foundation for VoIP and will ensure a low latency, high quality VoIP offering that is also cost effective for customers.

Broadwing will deliver a comprehensive product offering including local and long-distance calling, voice virtual private networks (VPN), personal web portals for customer self-management, unified messaging and dedicated Internet access.

Broadwing expects to have its VoIP offering generally available in 2004.
