over DSL (FRoDSL) service offers the benefit of a reliable private
data network at a lower cost than traditional frame relay. This

AND control costs at the same time. Broadwing Frame Relay over DSL
is a cost-effective and efficient way to connect remote enterprise
locations to the corporate WAN or add redundancy to your existing
network infrastructure.
Value
By integrating DSL access into your traditional frame relay network,
you can reduce access costs by more than 50% while still maintaining
the reliability and benefits of a private WAN solution - great for
current frame relay users looking for lower cost network options.
Business Class Service
Broadwing FRoDSL offers all of the reliability and security of traditional
frame relay - backed by the same aggressive, enterprise-class SLAs
as our traditional frame relay service including availability, latency

needs.
Availability

the business locations in the continental United States
Flexibility
Broadwing FRoDSL service includes two local access options for maximum
geographic reach - Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) and
ISDN DSL (IDSL). Both services offer symmetrical bandwidth upstream
and downstream.
SDSL is available in multiple port speeds - including 192 Kbps,
384 Kbps, 768 Kbps, 1.1 Mbps, and 1.5 Mbps. Available up to 8,000
feet from the central office.
IDSL provides a 144Kbps port speed. Available up to 40,000
feet from the central office, this option greatly increases the
number of locations you can cost-effectively integrate into the
corporate WAN.
Broadwing FRoDSL ports are available with one or two PVC options,
allowing you to utilize the second PVC for connection to the Internet
or as a business continuity solution.
All PVCs include a Committed Information Rate (CIR) at 50% of
the DSL port with the ability to burst to port speed.
All
services are delivered with Broadwing-provided, installed and maintained
DSL Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). Broadwing offers industry-leading
equipment options from Paradyne, including stand-alone CSU/DSUs
and integrated routers.
