your situation and lifestyle. Broadwing pays most of the cost of
employees' health benefits. Employees may share in the cost of additional
coverage options.
Most
benefits, including medical coverage, are effective on your date
of hire.
Medical
Broadwing offers several medical options depending on where you
work and live.
Dental
Dental coverage is available for preventive care, as well as more
extensive treatments such as crowns and orthodontia.
Vision
Eye exams and eyeglasses/contact lenses are covered expenses.
Life Insurance
Broadwing provides basic life and accidental death and dismemberment
(AD&D) benefits equal to one times annual income at no cost
to employees. You may also elect additional coverage, as well as
dependent life insurance for your spouse and/or children.
Flexible Reimbursement Accounts
Employees may make pre-tax contributions to reimbursement accounts
for eligible health, parking and dependent care expenses.
Paid Time Off
Vacation eligibility is based on length of service. New employees
are given three weeks of vacation, beginning on the date of employment.
Broadwing observes eight company holidays, in addition to four floating
holidays.
Broadwing
has a generous sick-time policy, where all full-time employees are
eligible to take time off for personal or immediate-family illness
or injury. An employee may take up to six (6) months of paid sick
leave per fiscal year.
